We begin...
I have never had a blog before, but this seemed a good opportunity to give it a whirl. I'll use this space to raise questions that grow out of the reading for the seminar and our weekly discussions, and I'll occasionally throw in other information about Leibniz, his philosophy and the scholarly study of it.
If you are inclined to comment, please do so! Ideally, this can be a way for all of us to deepen our understanding of some difficult issues.
A few housekeeping items:
By Tuesday, copies of all the weekly readings not in AG or LOC will be in the Philosophy 214 basket in the dept. library. Email me if you have problems getting to them or have other questions about the syllabus.
You should be thinking about presentations, which we will decide on this Wednesday. Again, email me if you have any questions.
Finally, if there are topics that you would like to see discussed here, let me know.
